Interferon Treatment Finished…Baby on the way!

Our Family

Bad news and worse news.  The day I found out that there was bad news about the metastasis of the Melanoma from the calf to the Lymph Nodes in my hip there was worse news on the family front.  My father Ed had passed away.  While playing competition Softball he had a Pulmonary Embolism.  He was an amazing man and a great head of the family and a true friend to many as was noticeable at his funeral.  There have been a couple honorary charities that have paid tribute to him. Luckily he’d been retired for a while and we’d all been able to spend a lot of time with him.

It was great to have so much family there to support us all during this rough time.  Dan and Luene made the trip out which wasn’t easy, especially with the snow storm closing the highways on their way back.

Posing here with Ruth you can see how they all gave us such powerful strength and wisdom to cope with the loss.

Here’s one side of the family that was able to attend.  Mom’s side however was too big to fit into one photo.  Although there were some good pictures of her siblings together.
